Bradford re-sign centre

Bradford have re-signed popular centre Ross Oakes on a two-year deal, following the lifting of their transfer ban.

The Bulls came out of special measures earlier this week after agreeing their squad budget for 2020 and have started to make the first steps in assembling their squad for next season.

Steve Crossley has already agreed to stay with the club and has now been joined by Oakes, who is a product of the club’s academy.

The 23-year-old made his debut for the Bulls in 2016 and has since gone on to make over 60 appearances for the club, scoring 24 tries.

“I’m delighted to have signed a full-time contract for the next two years, with it being my hometown club,” he said.

“It was an easy decision for me to make and I’m keen to make this season one of my best and help the team move forward.”
