ANOTHER Super League star ruled out until the end of the season

Liam Sutcliffe is the latest Leeds Rhinos star to be ruled out until the end of the season.

The versatile back suffered a knee injury in the defeat to Castleford last weekend and is now set to undergo surgery, but that will rule him out for the foreseeable future – even though he was initially named in Richard Agar’s 21-man squad for this week’s Super League fixture.

Leeds have already suffered season-ending injuries to the likes of Alex Mellor and Mikolaj Oledzki and now the list appears to be growing.

However, Jack Walker is expected to be back earlier than normal, with Luke Gale back from suspension.

The Rhinos currently sit in seventh in the Super League table with eight wins from 17 games so far in 2021.

They face Leigh at the Leigh Sports Village on Friday night as the Centurions battle for their first win of the season.
