It was announced yesterday that Leeds Rhinos halfback Callum McLelland would be linking up with the Castleford Tigers once more, after progressing through their academy. But, how did social media react?
Even the Doncaster RLFC chief executive was impressed with the signing.
Boy can play, go get em Cal 🙌🏻

One Castleford fan is seriously impressed with the side that Castleford are building for 2022.
Quite the squad is being assembled for next season. Just one more piece needed. A fullback/centre would do nicely. #COYF #CasNewEra https://t.co/6HBy2zA1qI

One Leeds fan wasn’t fussed to see McLelland depart though.
They aren’t good enough I’m afraid. He’s had plenty of chances. Wish him all the best for the future though.

Another Rhinos supporter isn’t going to lose any sleep over the loss.
You genuinely pleased with this one? He's not one I'm sad to see go I have to say

One Castleford fan believed him and Jake Trueman could strike up a partnership that was created in Castleford’s academy.

Another Tigers fan believed the move would certainly work out, given Castleford’s success with Leeds players in recent years.

That sentiment was echoed by a Leeds fan, too.
Another one who will torture us for years to come..
