The Rugby League World Cup may be hotting up as we enter the semi-final stages with Australia set for a titanic clash at Elland Road with New Zealand prior to England vs Samoa at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, but this hasn’t stopped Super League clubs from gearing up towards the 2023 campaign.
Last week the fixtures for next season were revealed whilst clubs continue to bring in new signings with Salford Red Devils confirming their latest acquisition today which you can read about here.
Hull KR and Wakefield Trinity were the first clubs to return to the training field doing so in October but now another club has joined them in pre-season preparations.
That would be Hull FC as Tony Smith’s reign as coach at the MKM Stadium truly begins today.
The Black and Whites have made a number of exciting signings for 2023 including Leeds Rhinos duo Liam Sutcliffe and Brad Dwyer and Castleford Tigers’ Jake Trueman.
They may have let Jake Connor leave for Huddersfield Giants but Hull have brought in Newcastle Knights duo Tex Hoy and Jake Clifford for next season however they won’t arrive until around Christmas time.
This won’t stop Hull FC from getting the wheels turning this pre-season with their preparations beginning today.
