Wigan Warriors have launched their third shirt for the 2024 Super League season and it’s a thing of beauty, but even better it’s set to help a local charity.

Rugby league long has ties of helping better the community with many Super League clubs partaking in initiatives over the festive period to help bring some Christmas joy. Leeds Rhinos were just one example as members of the squad visited a local children’s hospital.

Wigan Warriors are doing their part in the community by partnering with local charity ‘The Brick’ for the season with the team’s third kit brandishing the charity’s message and colours.

The club have confirmed that just 1,500 shirts will be available with £5 from every shirt sale going straight to the charity, meaning the Warriors could potentially help raise £7,500 if they sell out as expected.

The shirt itself is black with colourful trim on the sleeves that signify The Brick’s logo which shows the Wigan Borough, with each ward in a different colour. Those colours are then seen across the shirt design with thin stripes, signifying the different wards.

It marks another colourful and impressive design after Wigan Warriors had previously launched a stylish away shirt with a blue base and pink stylings.
