There’s no love lost between Wigan and Leigh and this Sunday’s afternoon fixture was no different.
When Brad Singleton received the ball from the kick-off, he charged towards the Leigh line.
What met him was a solid brick wall in the shape of Jack Ashworth. Unfortunately, something happened in the tackle which seemed to anger the Wigan prop and the duo came to blows.
Both Singleton and Ashworth received red cards whilst Oliver Partington was lucky not to have been given his marching orders for running in.
