It was one of the greatest moments in Lee Jewitt’s career – and perhaps for most Castleford fans up to that point.
Castleford had taken 2014 by storm in the league, with Daryl Powell’s men surprising the competition.
They did just that in the Challenge Cup too, riding all the way to Wembley after shocking Wigan in the quarter-finals and then Widnes in the semis.
That quarter-final though had everything; a 16-4 victory over the Warriors was just desserts for an incredible defensive performance as well as two brilliant late tries.
