Warrington Wolves’ George Williams given a surprising yellow card

Warrington Wolves’ George Williams has been handed a surprising yellow card in tonight’s fixture against St Helens.

Referee Chris Kendall explained that Williams’ punishment was down to ‘tactical’ penalties given by Warrington.

It followed Sione Mata’utia’s yellow card earlier in the game for a late shot on Williams himself.
