Warrington Wolves confirm loan departure of forward to Super League rivals

Warrington Wolves have confirmed the loan departure of one of their forwards to a Super League rival.

That man is Ellis Robson who has joined Toulouse Olympique on a month’s loan.

The club can confirm that @EllisRobson2 has joined @TOXIII on a four-week loan deal

The move presents Ellis with important game time in the Betfred Super League

Warrington have won all three of their opening games so far against the Leeds Rhinos, Castleford Tigers and Toulouse Olympique and they take on the Catalans Dragons tomorrow night who have had a mixed start to the campaign, beating Wakefield Trinity and Leeds but coming up short against reigning champions St Helens.

The Wolves will be at the Halliwell Jones Stadium for the second time in 2022.

Oliver Holmes is back for Warrington after a two-game suspension, whilst Mike Cooper, Ben Currie and Gareth Widdop have recovered from injury and illness respectively. Sam Tomkins is out for Catalans, adding to the woes suffered by the Dragons with the likes of Julian Bousquet and Arthur Mourgue sidelined and Dylan Napa and Gil Dudson suspended. Youngsters Florian Vailhen, Cesar Rouge and Corentin Le Cam have been called-up.
