Wakefield Trinity vs St Helens: 21-man squads, injury news, kick-off time & TV details

Wakefield Trinity will take on St Helens this Sunday afternoon at Belle Vue in the battle of the ends of the Super League table.

Whilst Wakefield sit bottom of the table, opponents Saints sit pretty at the top, with Trinity going down 15-10 against Hull KR last weekend.

Saints, meanwhile, overcame Huddersfield Giants, 25-0, in a typical champion’s performance after being down to 11 men at one stage.

Injury news

Jay Pitts will be out for the rest of the season through injury for Wakefield, though Josh Bowden, Jorge Taufua and Jamie Shaul will all make their home debuts. Lee Kershaw is also in line to register his first appearance of the season. Saints, however, will be without Will Hopoate who copped a big shoulder knock in last week’s win. Sione Mata’utia is also banned after receiving a three-match suspension for picking up a prone Danny Levi. Morgan Knowles will also miss out as Kristian Woolf brings in Lewis Baxter, Taylor Pemberton and George Delaney.

The game will kick off at 3pm on Sunday afternoon at Belle Vue.
