Tigers to literally embark on long journey to sign NRL star

The Wests Tigers are reportedly set to go above and beyond to sign Latrell Mitchell for 2021.

Mitchell is currently back home in Taree visiting families and helping to fight the bushfires impacting his area.

However, the player is reportedly set to be joined by representatives from the Wests Tigers who will be travelling to Taree with an offer for the player.

The centre has been heavily linked with the Tigers in recent weeks, with reports going as far to have said he had signed a four-year-deal with the club which subsequently turned out being false.

Whilst it shows a great amount of admiration and intent to sign the player, the Tigers’ trip to Taree may not be welcomed so kindly by Latrell.

After all, he has travelled there to get away from Rugby League and spend quality time with family.
