Skolars announce board changes

London Skolars have announced CEO Ian ‘Hector’ McNeil and Chairman Terry Browne have both tendered their immediate resignations.

McNeil founded the club back in 1995, and had been the CEO ever since. He has now stepped aside to commit more time to his family and his other business.

Meanwhile, Browne has walked away for similar reasons. In light of government advice surrounding the coronavirus, he decided to walk away from the club. He has sold his shares to his son, Colin.

Brown told the club website: “It has been a privilege for Hector and I to have been associated with the club over so many years and be assured we will continue to be its greatest supporters. No doubt as the current panic subsides and normality returns, we will also find ways to positively support the club as it moves forward”.
