There are still plenty of star players looking for a club in 2023.
One of them is former Super League Grand Finalist and Challenge Cup Finalist Krisnan Inu who has left Leigh Leopards but isn’t set to retire as initially rumoured.
Capable of playing wing and centre, he could be an ideal signing for a number of Super League clubs.
So, here’s three Super League clubs and three Championship he could join next season.
Wakefield Trinity
After the signing of Kevin Proctor, Trinity have two quota spots left and could do a lot worse than adding more experience to their squad in the shape of Inu. With Trinity losing Bill Tupou, Inu could be the ideal replacement.
Leeds Rhinos
Serious About Rugby League understands that Brayden Wiliame is headed back to Super League and Leeds Rhinos could very well be the destination. However, if this doesn’t come down, having seemingly missed out on Nene MacDonald, a move for someone like Krisnan Inu or Samisoni Langi may be an option the club consider to resolve their centre problem in the short term.
Catalans Dragons
Like Leeds, Catalans Dragons are on the hunt for a new centre but there aren’t too many in the current market so the Dragons may look to bring in someone of Inu’s quality and experience as someone to cover the centre spots in the short term.
Bradford Bulls
Perhaps a move to another Championship club would be more likely for the former Leigh Leopards man and the way the Bulls are recruiting at present seemingly pushing for promotion, signing someone who has already gained promotion in the past could be a smart move.
Toulouse Olympique
Plenty of players in the twilight of their careers are tempted over to France by the prospect of living there. This could be the case for Inu after he spent some time in the Elite One Championship.
Featherstone Rovers
Like Bradford, Featherstone may look to bring in someone of Inu’s experience to help their efforts in looking to secure promotion.
