Salford Red Devils vs Hull KR: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Last week was something of a humbling experience for both Salford and Hull KR, so this game is all about getting back on the horse.

Salford lost a second consecutive game comprehensively as they were well beaten by Huddersfield taking the shine off their positive start with two wins from two to start the campaign. A win here is invaluable.

As for Hull KR, they were immediately knocked down to earth by Champions St Helens after a first win of the season against Castleford in Round Three. Their 42-8 defeat wasn’t ideal but this is a chance for them to get back on track.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 7:45pm at the AJ Bell Stadium.

There is no live coverage. Highlights will be available on the BBC’s Super League Show and Super League’s YouTube channel.

Predicted line-ups

Salford Red Devils
The Red Devils have a big boost in the shape of Tim Lafai’s return which will give their backline a more natural look this week and also allow Paul Rowley to use Matt Costello off the bench. However, there is a blow for Salford in the pack with Greg Burke unavailable after a head knock last week so new signings King Vuniyayawa and Sitaleki Akauola will start together for the first time since joining the club with Jack Ormondroyd set to cover the duo from the bench. James Greenwood may also return to the fold.

Lachlan Coote and Brad Takairangi are both unavailable meaning Hull KR’s attack will take on a new complexion with Will Dagger set for the fullback role, Sam Wood likely to shuffle in one place to centre with Ethan Ryan returning on the wing. There is a boost for Tony Smith’s side in the shape of Kane Linnett’s potential return, he may be brought back into the side via the bench.
