Here is a round-up of everything that has happened…

Radford wants five Cas exits

Castleford Tigers head coach Lee Radford is ready to put his stamp on his new squad after inheriting most of his side from Daryl Powell.

With that, according to the Full Eighty Minutes podcast, Radford has ‘five players at the club he doesn’t want.’ Read more on that here.

Tetevano mammoth ban

Leeds Rhinos star Zane Tetevano could be set for another major ban following last night’s game against St Helens. The forward was sent off with four minutes to go. Read more here.

French close to deal

Wigan Warriors’ Bevan French is reportedly close to a deal for 2023, according to Sky Sports pundit Jenna Brooks.

Fev lose two, Kear signs two

Featherstone Rovers have shipped out two of their new signings on short-term deals. Read more here.

Bateman hailed

John Bateman was hailed by Eddie Hemmings on The Last Tackle podcast for his performance in England’s win over Combined Nations All Stars last weekend.

The Wigan Warriors man excelled in the second-row and certainly put his hand up for England selection in the future.

Warrington players ‘rattled’

According to a Warrington’s Fan Panel Meeting, the Warrington Wolves players are ‘rattled’ after being handed one of three letters. Read more here.

Will Huddersfield Giants star Theo Fages return for Sunday’s clash against Hull KR?

The diminutive halfback has been out for a number of weeks following a calf injury.

Widdop’s shock new link

On the topic of Warrington Wolves, a shock link came about yesterday concerning Gareth Widdop and a potential new club.

He has been linked with a move to Castleford Tigers, but the new link is to a different club entirely. Read more here.

Challenge Cup 2023

Serious About Rugby League contacted the RFL about a potential venue and date for next year’s Challenge Cup Final.

TV drop

Unfortunately, rugby league viewers will be short of a game at the end of July after Leigh Centurions’ Premier Sports game has been dropped.

Potential long-term bans

Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants players face potential long-term bans if they are found guilty at a tribunal.

It follows the Disciplinary Match Review Panel’s meeting yesterday. Read more on the bans here.

Another Cas Love Island offer

Another Castleford Tigers star has revealed a Love Island offer after speaking with BBC Radio Leeds.

Jacques O’Neill has already caused a stir in the villa after his entrance last weekend. Read more here.

Mellor’s awkward conversations

New Castleford Tigers signing Alex Mellor has revealed ‘awkward’ conversations had to be made with former boss Rohan Smith and chief executive Gary Hetherington, he told BBC Radio Leeds.

Hull FC face a potential stadium clash with footballing side Hull City following the release of Championship fixtures.

Could former Salford Red Devils owner Marwan Koukash make a return to Super League?

Pearce-Paul and Pryce to leave?

Wigan Warriors star Kai Pearce-Paul and Huddersfield Giants star Will Pryce are reportedly leaving their respective clubs, according to journalist Barry Toohey.

Reynolds’ teammates speak out

Former Hull FC halfback Josh Reynolds left the club this week six months before his deal was set to end.
