Rugby league is always keen to be at the forefront of any and all community relations and that’s always on show with Leeds Rhinos and the club’s Foundation in particular ensuring plenty of charity work within the area.
It’s now been announced by Leeds Rhinos Foundation that they’re set to launch a Rugby League Development Plan and at the launch evening there will be speakers such as both the men’s and women’s head coaches, Rohan Smith and Lois Forsell.
The event which is scheduled for 7pm January 23rd at their Headingley home will invite representatives from local community clubs to outline how Rhinos can help to improve and develop rugby league in a wider sense across the community.

Improving standards of the game, player recruitment and the introduction of pathways development opportunities will all be on the agenda and the guest speakers aren’t just limited to Smith and Forsell.
Also in attendance will be Gary Hetherington, Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Robert Hicks meaning a broad range of topics will be covered by the club representatives.
Not limited to the men’s and women’s games there will also be information on the development of boys and girls rugby as well as physical disability, learning disability and wheelchair rugby league as well.
Building on the incredible World Cup and the passion for rugby league at the moment the Rhinos Foundation looks set to do some more incredible work.
