Richie Mathers has been there and done it in the world of rugby league.
Following spells at Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves and Leeds Rhinos, Mathers made a name for himself as one of the most talented fullbacks of his generation.
So, let’s face it, he knows what he is talking about when it comes to hailing players.
And, his view on Huddesfield Giants starlet Will Pryce is one of serious adulation.
Mathers took to social media to say about Pryce: “Most exciting talent we’ve seen in Super League by far for the last 12 years. Make him a household name, his dancing feet will do the talking on the pitch. The most marketable player we have, look after him, we don’t want to lose him to the other side of the world or rugby union. The kid is special.”

For Pryce, 2022 will see him switch from halfback to fullback with head coach Ian Watson handing the teenager the number 1 shirt ahead of the new season.
But, that certainly won’t faze the son of Grand Final-winning star Leon as he prepares to create his own legacy in the sport.
