Paul Rowley confirms major blow to Salford Red Devils star Danny Addy

Salford Red Devils have been doing it tough with injuries in 2022 so far.

The Super League season has been up and down for Salford, with five wins from 14 games landing the Red Devils in ninth.

And, with Salford decimated by flu a few weeks ago, that hasn’t helped head coach Paul Rowley in his selection dilemmas.

Unfortunately, Sky Sports pundit Jenna Brooks revealed live on coverage of Salford’s home clash against Wigan Warriors at the AJ Bell Stadium tonight that one of their stars will be out for a long period of time.

That man is Danny Addy who, Brooks revealed, has pulled his hamstring and faces a long spell on the sidelines.

The Scottish international has been doing it tough in 2022, with his game time being limited due to injury and form, but he will want to recover as soon as possible given the World Cup at the end of the year.
