Leon Pryce sends out brilliant message for star son Will

Much has been said of young Huddersfield Giants star Will Pryce since he debuted back in the 2021 Super League season.

That year, the Giants were plagued by injury, so head coach Ian Watson called up the teenager into the first team – and boy did it pay off.

A number of stellar performances later and the name Will Pryce was on the tip of most people’s tongues, with the rugby league fraternity eager to see his journey through the ranks to the big time.

His father Leon, who himself carved out an incredible career during his time in the game, has been with him every step of the way – and who better to look up to than someone as successful as the ex-St Helens star?

Will was busy shooting a promotional video for the 2022 Super League season today, with dad Leon looking on proudly in the wings.

And, Pryce senior made his feelings known with a brilliant message on his Instagram page.

He stated: “Where’d you get that step from boy 😂 . Do your thing. You are your own man, making your own name. I love it & I’m with you all the way, sat back enjoying you live your dream. Nothings been given to you and everything has been earned. ”

With a huge future ahead of him, Pryce will be eager for more game time as the fullback for Huddersfield in 2022 after being given the number 1 shirt.
