Leigh Centurions ran out winners over Halifax Panthers last night 26-16.
But, both Premier Sports pundits Leon Pryce and Kevin Brown tipped Halifax to win – and they also tipped Featherstone Rovers to win the Championship.
Rovers themselves dropped a point at the weekend, drawing with Batley Bulldogs at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium, and Leigh owner Derek Beaumont had some choice words for the duo.
Beaumont tweeted: “Im told @kevjonbrown and @leonpryce6 tipped Fax tonight. Also see fev as favourites for the league love the motivation you provide our quality players that you appear to disrespect.Hope you did better with your tips at Cheltenham lads! Keep saying what you need for the few quid!”

The race for the promotion spot in the Championship is heating up, with Featherstone occupying top spot, Leigh one point behind and Barrow Raiders just one point behind the Centurions.
Add into the mix Widnes Vikings and York City Knights who are behind Barrow by just one point and there is certainly no clear cut winner appearing just yet.
