Leeds Rhinos suffer massive blow

Leeds Rhinos have suffered a late blow ahead of their clash with Castleford Tigers.

They Rhinos are now without in form prop Tom Holroyd.

Sam Walters comes into the front row with 18th man Liam Tindall subsequently starting on the bench.

The Tigers have won two of the previous three but Leeds Rhinos really kick started their season last year with a win against the Tigers in Newcastle.

Castleford are desperate for a win with just two this season one of which came against the Rhinos.

Leeds aren’t just playing for the two points but are looking to do something special for Doddie Weir as they don a special jersey in honour of him and to raise money in the fight against MND.

Leeds need a win for their play-offs hopes.

The big call before the loss of Holroyd was, after Rohan Smith said he wouldn’t play last week, Blake Austin starts in the halves with Richie Myler which means Ash Handley starts at fullback.

There is also the surprise inclusion of off season signing Luis Roberts at centre.

He hasn’t played since February but has been tearing it up in the Reserves.

Leeds are wearing a special MND jersey in honour of Doddie Weir.
