Keith Senior’s Super League Predictions: Round 12

Huddersfield Giants vs London Broncos (Monday 3pm)

Huddersfield were blown away in the first half at Headingley on Friday but they will be expected to bounce back here. London were involved in a bruising encounter against Catalans on Thursday and came up well short for the fifth game in a row. I think the Broncos losing run will continue unfortunately and the Giants will get a much-needed win.

Hull KR vs Warrington Wolves (Monday 3pm)

Nobody could have predicted the beatings these two suffered on Good Friday. Tim Sheens may have a job on picking up his players after the annihilation at the hands of their city rivals. Warrington’s surprise defeat to Salford means they are now four points adrift of leaders St Helens so they will be determined to get back on track here.

Salford Red Devils vs Wigan Warriors (Monday 3pm)

It was only a few weeks ago that Wigan went to Salford and won when they were on a bad run of form. They will be hoping to do the same again against Ian Watson’s side who picked up a huge victory against Warrington on Friday. Tough one to call this, however, I think Salford’s halves will guide them to another famous win.

St Helens vs Hull FC (Monday 3pm)

Hull FC have really hit form of late and now find themselves challenging at the top. They were superb against their city rivals the other day and will fancy their chances of an upset win over the league leaders. Saints just keep knocking over what’s put in front of them and I don’t see Hull having enough to stop them either.

Wakefield Trinity vs Leeds Rhinos (Monday 3pm)

After just failing to pull off a remarkable comeback against Castleford the other night, Wakefield now face their other main rivals Leeds. The absence of Danny Brough and Jacob Miller is still massive for Chris Chester and I think having beaten Huddersfield on Monday, the Rhinos might just be able to make it two wins in a row at Belle Vue.

Catalans Dragons vs Castleford Tigers (Monday 5pm)

The final game of a busy Easter Monday is in Perpignan and it promises to be a great game. Both played on Thursday with Catalans too strong for London while Castleford hung on against Wakefield. Cas are doing it tough with injuries at the moment so I think the French side will edge this game, especially with the passionate home crowd behind them.
