Hull target Evans and enquire about Burgess

Kane Evans has emerged as a prime target for Hull FC.

The 27-year-old prop is currently out of favour at Parramatta and wants to leave the club.

Hull Live report that the Eels are keen to offload Evans with the KCOM Stadium his most likely destination.

The Fijian international previously played for the Sydney Roosters and has 88 NRL appearances to his name so far.

His huge stature and dominant style will likely be an attractive proposition to Hull who are actively looking to bolster their pack for next season.

George Burgess is also on the radar of the Black and Whites but reports suggest they will not pursue him further.

The England forward’s availability became apparent earlier this week but despite Souths not offering him a new deal, it seems likely he will stay in the NRL.

And as reported last week, Alex Glenn is still on the Airlie Birds wish-list with the club hoping to speak to the 30-year-old Brisbane forward in the next few weeks.
