Kenny Edwards may well be a Castleford Tigers player, but he is still contracted to Huddersfield Giants.
Having signed a one-year loan deal at the Jungle, Edwards has started his career with Castleford like a house on fire.
For the second-rower, his time at the John Smith’s Stadium was enjoyable despite his injury problem towards the end of his Huddersfield career;
“It was good – I had fun especially the first year coming over here from Catalans Dragons in France,” Edwards told Serious About Rugby League.
“I knew I was coming into a team that lacked a bit of confidence after being down the bottom for a while.
“I thought myself and Aidan Sezer added a lot in 2020 and enjoyed our footy and even last year when I was fit, it was the fittest I’d ever been.”

For Edwards, though, change was necessary after two years at the club and he joined Castleford on a one-year deal – and it was the only club he wanted.
“I think there were a couple of bites that were in the race. my manager wasn’t overly sure on who it was, but my mind was set once I got the call from Lee Radford.
“I had spoken to him earlier about possibly coming over earlier in the year, but my management got told I wasn’t able to leave Huddersfield.
“When I got the ok to leave and Lee Radford called me again, I didn’t want to go elsewhere.”
