England vs Combined Nations: Predicting both squads for the mid-season international

A friendly between England and the Combined Nations All Stars is set to take place on the 25th June at Warrington’s Halliwell Jones stadium. Similar to the Exiles concept, England will face an all-stars team, however in this fixture players from the Northern Hemisphere will also be eligible.

Shaun Wane has emphasised the importance of selecting ‘homegrown players,’ and so players such as Jackson Hastings are unlikely to feature. Only players included in Shaun Wane’s recent 35-man squad have been considered.

Tim Sheens has been named head coach of the Combined Nations team, and has an abundance of overseas talent to select from, particularly in the backs.
