There is no truth to reports that Hull KR are interested in signing Warrington’s marquee star Blake Austin.
That is according to journalist John Davidson who spoke with Hull KR chief executive Paul Lakin who dismissed the rumours.
The Hull Daily Mail yesterday reported that Rovers had launched a seriously ambitious bid to pry Austin away from the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with George Williams set to join the Wolves.
30-year-old Austin has played almost 60 times for Warrington since joining ahead of the 2019 season.
Spoke to Hull KR CEO Paul Lakin, he says there’s no truth to reports that his club is interested in signing Blake Austin.
