Channel 4 put nine Super League matches free on streaming service

Rugby league is within touching distance with pre-season fixtures starting on Boxing Day but even so those pre-season fixtures don’t quite have the edge that Super League does.

If you’re in need of that rugby league fix Channel 4 have got your backs as they’re uploading nine of their 2022 Super League matches to their free streaming service.

Channel 4 will head into the second season of their two-year broadcasting deal with Sky Sports and Super League in 2023 but they provided us with some great games in 2022.

As a Christmas treat the broadcasters are uploading nine of those fixtures to their free streaming platform All4 where you’ll be able to relive the 2022 season.

The broadcaster announced the good news via their Twitter.

The nine fixtures that Channel 4 had last year featured some crackers with top of the list probably being the play-off games of St Helens facing Salford Red Devils and then the Red Devils facing Huddersfield Giants.

Arguably the best game was from the opening weekend, and ironically it’s the same match up that opens the 2023 season, with Leeds Rhinos hosting Warrington Wolves.

Across the nine games available to watch 11 of the 12 Super League teams feature so unless you’re a Toulouse fan you’ll be able to watch your team for free at any time over Christmas.

10 Available Games on All4

Round 2 – Hull FC Vs St Helens

Round 6 – Warrington Wolves Vs Wakefield Trinity

Round 10 – Wigan Warriors Vs Salford Red Devils

Round 13 – Hull KR Vs Catalans Dragons

Round 14 – Castleford Tigers Vs Wigan Warriors
