Castleford v Warrington: Squads Announced

Castleford and Warrington have both announced their 21-man squads for Thursday night’s fixture at the Totally Wicked Stadium (KO 8:15pm).

Both side registered wins last week and each put an impressive 37 points past their respective opponents.

The Tigers’ demolished Salford as they continue their fight to break into the top four, while the Wolves moved into second with a convincing victory over Hull FC.

Castleford Tigers

James Clare returns for the Tigers having recovered from a neck injury caused by a crusher tackle less than two weeks ago. He replaces Jesse Sene-Lefao, who has been stood down for breaching Covid-19 track and trace protocols. Young forward Lewis Peachey is also recalled, replacing Bailey Hodgson.

Warrington Wolves

The Wolves are still without several senior players due to self-isolation and injury, including the likes of Chris Hill, Gareth Widdop and Jack Hughes. Ben Murdoch-Masila returns from suspension to bolster Steve Price’s side, while young forward Eribe Doro could make his debut.
