Gold Coast Titans forward Bryce Cartwright has denied claims he is against vaccinations in a social media post.
Cartwright refused to take a flu shot, which had been made compulsory by the NRL. All players and staff had to have one before the NRL restarts on 28 May.
Upon his refusal, he signed a waiver, abolishing the Titans and NRL from any blame if he gets sick.
In the post, he says he is “pro-choice, pro-informed consent and pro-medical freedom.”
He started training again with the Titans earlier today.
