Wolfpack UK to be wound up ?

Law firm Brandsmiths , who represented Ryan Bailey over his refusal to take a drug test charge , have issued a wind up petition for the UK arm of Trans-Atlantic side Toronto Wolfpack .

The wind up order relates to non payment of legal fees , which is rumoured to be a six figure sum . Bailey who was a Toronto player at the time ,  could have been banned for 4 years if found guilty of refusing to take a drug test , but his legal team successfully argued his case stating that the water given to him to take before the test  could have been contaminated so he was justified in refusing to give a sample .

The wind up order will be held on January 7th , but a spokesperson for Toronto stated that payment issue is being resolved and stressed the petition only concerns the Wolfpack’s UK arm and not the Canadian operation .
