Wakefield hosted Catalans last Friday night and though they went down 38-18, the game was marred by an incident involving both sets of players.
Trinity’s Bill Tupou carried the ball forward, but was upended in a three-man Catalans tackle, one of whom was Jordan Dezaria.
The Dragons’ forward lifted Tupou’s legs past the horizontal, forcing the Wakefield man headfirst into the ground. Despite calls from the linesman for a yellow card, referee Chris Kendall played on with just a warning given to Dezaria.
And, the disciplinary didn’t think it was that serious either with the Frenchman given just a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B Dangerous Throw.

How this wasn’t a card of some description beggars belief. Super League needs to be better. Player welfare should not be ignored: pic.twitter.com/N20J1En7S5
