Adam Walker has been dropped from Scotland’s World Cup train-on squad following a failed drugs test.
Walker tested positive for cocaine after Wakefield Trinity’s match against Widnes Vikings and he has been suspended from all playing and training activity.
James Bell and Campbell Graham, who both ply their trade in Australia. have come into the squad which consists of 37 players.
“We totally support the RFL anti-doping regulations and the action undertaken by Wakefield Trinity,” said Scotland RL chairman Keith Hogg.
“We will be withdrawing Adam Walker from our extended World Cup squad.”
Bell plays in the back-row while Graham is a winger, and both will be looking to force their way into contention for a starting spot in a competitive squad.
