Two Englishmen feature in the NRL’s top 10 fastest players

Herbie Farnworth and Dom Young have both made it into the top ten of the NRL’s fastest players from the 2021 season.

Young, formerly of the Huddersfield Giants, finished in the top five with England international Farnworth further down the pecking order.

For the third straight year, new Canterbury recruit Josh Addo-Carr obtained the title, running in at 38.1 km/h, with Manly’s Jason Saab in second, registering 38.0 km/h, and new Melbourne signing Xavier Coates in third.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow also finished in the top five alongside Young, whilst Brisbane duo Selwyn Cobbo and Farnworth finished in eighth and sixth respectively.

Even Canterbury forward Jack Hetherington made the list which came as a shock for many who drew the most surprise though, alongside Parramatta’s Mitchell Moses to fill the top ten.
