Toronto’s future remains unclear as decision delayed

The decision regarding Toronto Wolfpack’s Super League future has been delayed.

It is understood this is to allow prospective owner Carl LiVolsi more time to speak to other Super League officials about their readmission.

The Wolfpack withdrew from the 2020 season in July citing overwhelming financial challenges.

Players and staff have gone without pay for months after former owner David Argyle stepped away from the club.

It is believed all these individuals will be paid in full should Toronto be re-entered into Super League for the 2021 season.

In their absence, Super League are playing out the remainder of the 2020 campaign with just 11 teams.
