Joel Tomkins has been banned for four matches after being found guilty of punching Zak Hardaker in Catalans’ 48-0 victory over Wigan on Saturday evening.
The 34-year-old admitted the charge, but challenged the Grade D ruling.
The tribunal, however, suspended Tomkins for four games after agreeing that the charge was correct.
Hardaker has been issued with a two-match ban following a headbutt on Joel’s brother Sam.
