THREE huge Super League transfers to be confirmed

Teams like Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves and Hull KR have really impressed with the recruitment ahead of the 2024 Super League season.

We have seen in the past the impact the right signing can have at the right time in the Betfred Super League.

A good example would be the arrival of Jamie Peacock at Leeds Rhinos in 2006. This took the Rhinos from competitors at the top to an unbeatable dynasty at the Super League summit.

In the case of Jackson Hastings at Salford Red Devils and Stuart Fielden at Wigan Warriors, signings can fend off relegation.

Meanwhile, Ben Barba shows that a big name can help start a dynasty as he did at St Helens upon his arrival mid way through 2017.

There are some big transfers still to be announced in Super League but what are they?

Cade Cust
Another player who has left Wigan, the stand off who can also play as a nine is set to join Salford Red Devils to help replace Brodie Croft after his big money move to Headingley. He could even be joined by Sam Powell at the AJ Bell with the club also needing to replace Andy Ackers.

Kelepi Tanginoa
Hull KR are ready to pull the trigger on Kelepi Tanginoa to Craven Park after Wakefield Trinity’s relegation in 2023. This is because Kane Linnett is contemplating an early retirement despite agreeing a new deal at Craven Park in May but there has been some big decisions already made by Hull KR in terms of recruitment.

Justin Olam
According to the Mole of Wide World of Sports, St Helens are on the cusp of signing Melbourne Storm centre and Papua New Guinea international Justin Olam. The Saints need a replacement for Will Hopoate who has been let go of by the club after neither side exercised the extension option in his deal. Olam has also been linked with a move to Warrington Wolves under Sam Burgess.

So there are some big signings set to be announced ahead of the 2024 season which is vitally important as we can see from the past. So what does the future hold?
