Swinton have signed young Wigan outside back Sam Grant on a one-year deal.
The 20-year-old never made his senior debut for the Warriors, but has had loan spells with Leigh and Rochdale in the Championship, and London Skolars in League 1.
“I’m really looking forward to the season ahead,” he said. “I’m also looking forward to meeting my new team mates and getting involved during pre season. Hopefully I can contribute into making 2020 a good year for both the club and supporters.”
Lions head coach Stuart Littler added: “Sam is a very experienced academy star who has already had some success in his career.
“I am pleased to say after meeting Sam a couple of times he sees us as a good fit for the next stage of his career. Sam will challenge for a centre berth, but he can also adequately cover the wing position.
