Castleford Tigers have announced that new signing Nixon Putt is set to arrive in the country after his Visa has been resolved.
He is set to join up with the squad at the end of 2023 after Christmas which is a big boost for the Tigers.
The Tigers have also signed his Papua New Guinea teammate Sylvester Namo who is set to be fit for the start of the new season after an ACL injury.
The West Yorkshire club could be without another new signing ahead of the new season due to a hamstring injury.
Former Hull KR and Bradford Bulls halfback who spent a short period on loan at Castleford’s rivals Wakefield Trinity, Rowan Milnes.
The Tigers aren’t the only club who have been waiting on a visa with Leigh Leopards set to announce the signing of Tristan Sailor for 2024 when his visa is confirmed.
But turning back to Castleford, they have added a number of exciting signings for next year such as Luke Hooley from Leeds Rhinos, Sam Wood from Hull KR as well as former Hull FC and St Helens centre Josh Simm.
With a plethora of new signings and players leaving the club, Castleford Tigers have already confirmed their 2024 First Team squad though squad numbers are still set to be confirmed.
Aaron Willis has now moved on to pastures new as he has taken up an opportunity elsewhere. Fletcher Rooney is included in the First Team squad after making his debut last campaign. A whopping ten new signings will be joining the Fords when pre-season begins.
