The talk last week was dominated by Tyler Dupree after his transfer request with the prop hoping to force a move to Super League rivals from Hull KR.
This was before Wigan Warriors came in with an offer as well.
After all this debate, Dupree did his talking on the pitch yesterday afternoon.
It was a surprise to some to see Dupree named by Paul Rowley after all this talk but he scored Salford’s first try today against Hull FC as he carved through the heart of their defence with some lovely footwork helped by his size too.
It shows that, despite all the talk, Dupree is focused on his performances and is still playing at his best.
Dupree meanwhile has showed his love for Salford no matter what happens with his reaction after the game.
He was delighted with the win and his try:
Good to get the ✌🏽points today and get on the score sheet!😤 https://t.co/wKvCQuNqEI

It is also clear that he is still on good terms with his teammates as he paid tribute to Marc Sneyd:
How good is the man on the boot @SneydMarc and the man on the sprint @RyanBrierley 😮💨😮💨😮💨 https://t.co/dTZDl35iy0

Salford fans should also be praised for the reception they gave the prop.
Dupree was also last off the field as he signed autographs and posed for pictures.
Perhaps a farewell or simply a show that he still loves the club?
