Super League refereeing appointments as Robert Hicks replaces DROPPED official

The next round of Super League fixtures will begin on Friday night with Castleford Tigers taking on Huddersfield Giants live on Sky Sports.

That will be the only game during the week with Hull FC taking on Leeds Rhinos on Saturday afternoon and Catalans Dragons going up against St Helens in a titanic Sky clash later that evening.

Toulouse Olympique will host Hull KR on Saturday night, too, with Wakefield Trinity hosting Wigan Warriors on Sunday afternoon.

Warrington Wolves will also be hoping to build on a 4-0 win over Hull FC last week when Salford Red Devils come to town.

But, just who will be refereeing the fixtures this round of Super League?

Ben Thaler will be officiating Featherstone Rovers’ game against Newcastle Thunder, whilst Tom Grant does not have a game at all following Leeds Rhinos’ defeat to St Helens last weekend.

    Grant was a bit out of his depth missing a number of infringements however there is not enough full time officials and no doubt he will improve, too much has been made re the ‘Regan Try’.
