St Helens v Hull FC: 21-man squads, injury update and TV details

St Helens and Hull FC have both announced their 21-man squads for Friday night’s round eight clash at the Totally Wicked Stadium (KO 7:45pm).

Saints saw their eight-game unbeaten run end last week, losing 20-16 to Catalans in Perpignan despite a late fightback.

FC also fell victim to the Dragons two weeks ago with a 27-10 defeat, but bounced back on Sunday with a gutsy 18-12 win over Leeds.

The game will be available to watch on Sky Sports Arena, with coverage starting at 7:30pm.

St Helens

Kristian Woolf makes one change, with Regan Grace dropping out with a head knock. He is replaced by young back rower Sam Royle, who is called up for the first time. Tommy Makinson (foot), James Bentley (leg), Matty Lees (leg) and Jake Wingfield (shoulder) remain unavailable.

Hull FC

FC also make one change, with Josh Bowden returning from an elbow injury which has kept him out of the Black and Whites’ last four games. He replaces Connor Wynne, with Scott Taylor (foot), Masi Matongo (knee) and Jamie Shaul (ACL) still out injured.
