St Helens reveal amazing ticket sales

St Helens have confirmed the stunning sell out of the Totally Wicked Stadium for their Good Friday clash against Wigan Warriors.

In the traditional Easter clash in Super League, the two will collide in what many feel will be a dress rehearsal for the Super League Grand Final in October.

The match has draw a huge sell 0ut crowd for the game as confirmed by St Helens with the following statement:

“Two of the biggest and best rugby league clubs on the planet will write the next chapter in a storied, 129-year historic rivalry.

“It promises to be an electric atmosphere, with over 14,000 Saints supporters bringing the noise for one of the biggest days in the sporting calendar. The Warriors have now also sold out their away allocation of close to 4,000 tickets for the big match.

“Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Heading into Round Six of Betfred Super League, Saints and Wigan sit third and second in the league table, level on points with the side sat at the top, all are separated only by points difference.

“Reminder: The Saints’ Stadium Ticket Office has no further availability of tickets. We ask supporters to not contact or visit our Ticket Office with an expectation of securing any tickets for the Good Friday fixture.”

Speaking to Wigan Warriors’ Official website ahead of the game against St Helens, hooker Kruise Leeming spoke about looking forward to playing in the fixture: “I’ve watched a lot of them, they’re good games to watch and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Leeming returned from injury to score against Sheffield Eagles in the Challenge Cup: “I didn’t want to play a game then be back in the physio room so the medical team have been great, my recovery has been fantastic so it’s just about playing now.

“Whoever we get in the next round will be a good game, there’s some good teams left in the Challenge Cup now so we look forward to the next round but next week is a huge game for us.”
