St George Illawarra Dragons and Penrith Panthers counting the cost of injuries with Brian To’o amongst them

St George Illawarra Dragons and Penrith Panthers are set to be without a number of their stars in the near future following injuries suffered in round two.

Andrew McCullough left the pitch for the Dragons, whilst Brian To’o and James Fisher-Harris also suffered bad knocks.

“The Dragons doctor has confirmed an elbow dislocation for Andrew McCullough,” Fox League’s Lara Pitt said.

“He is sitting there with that left arm in a sling and on ice. He will have scans to confirm how bad the injury is and the damage. But he is certainly looking at some time on the sidelines.”

“The Panthers are not willing to speculate on the severity of Brian To’o’s knee injury,” Pitt said.

“But that is certainly a concern for them. He will play no further part in the game.”

Penrith coach Ivan Cleary revealed after the game that Fisher-Harris and To’o will also go for scans.

“Bit of carnage today,” Cleary said.

“Fisher-Harris is a shoulder, don’t know how bad but didn’t feel like he could go back on.

“Brian has done something to his knee. Not good. But that’s the situation we’re in, hopefully we get some decent (scan) results tomorrow.”
