Premier Sports, Our League and The Sportsman set to broadcast wide range of rugby league games this weekend

Rugby League fans will again be spoilt for choice this weekend, with a feast of action from the Betfred Championship, League One and Women’s Challenge Cup on offer.

Our League will be showing three matches, starting with Friday night’s Championship clash between promotion-chasing Leigh Centurions and a Dewsbury Rams team aiming to kickstart their season.

That game is available as pay-per-view for the usual rates – £4.95 for an earlybird offer before midnight on Thursday, then £10 on matchday, with a replay available for £4.95 for the next seven days.

On Saturday, attention turns to League One, and an historic fixture on the North Wales coast, as Neil Kelly’s Cornwall RLFC play their first fixture against Anthony Murray’s Crusaders in beautiful Colwyn Bay – with the new Celtic Shield on the line for the first time.

That game kicks off at 530pm, and is completely free to Our League members – with former Hull FC and Hull KR playmaker Paul Cooke joining Matt Horton in the commentary box.

There’s a double header on Sunday – again all free to view – with the repeat of last autumn’s League One play-off classic between Keighley Cougars and Doncaster on The Sportsman from 3pm, followed by the local derby between Wakefield Trinity and Oulton Raidettes in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup – the last round of group matches before next weekend’s quarter finals.

And then on Monday night, Emma Louise Jones and the Premier Sports team return to Betfred Championship action after last week’s Challenge Cup coverage – they are heading to the North-East for the first time, as the Newcastle Thunder brains trust of Denis Betts and Eamon O’Carroll take on their former club Widnes Vikings at Kingston Park.
