One player every Super League club is set to sign

Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves and Hull KR have all announced signings for the 2024 season already.

Hull KR have drafted in Peta Hiku and Oliver Gildart from the NRL as well as former Hull FC and Castleford Tigers target AJ Wallace from Bradford Bulls.

Warrington Wolves also looked to the NRL signing Lachlan Fitzgibbon beating four clubs to his signature.

One of those was Leeds Rhinos who instead signed Mickael Goudemand. The Rhinos have also lost Sam Walters to Wigan Warriors who have also drafted in Kruise Leeming, Tiaki Chan and Adam Keighran.

But which other transfers are also set to take place for 2024?

Castleford Tigers – Sam Wood
Andy Last confirmed recently that the Tigers had put in offers for two players for 2024 These are expected to be Hull KR’s versatile Sam Wood and Wakefield Trinity vice-captain Jordy Crowther. However, this was somewhat denied by Mark Applegarth.

Catalans Dragons – Theo Fages
It does seem that the Dragons could be interested in halfbacks though with Mitchell Pearce and Tyrone May linked with moves. They have been linked with French star Theo Fages from Huddersfield Giants.

Huddersfield Giants – Adam Swift
Ian Watson confirmed that Huddersfield were interested in the winger who has been in really great form in 2023.

Hull FC – Liam Tindall
Hull have been linked with a number of players but one of their more recent links has been Leeds Rhinos winger Liam Tindall. Rohan Smith confirmed recently he had a greed a deal elsewhere for 2024.

Hull KR –Forward
There was a rumour that Willie Peters was interested in NRL forward Tyson Frizell. Peters has a previous relationship with the forward and confirmed talks were held but didn’t see him make the move however it shows the club could be targeting another forward.

Leeds Rhinos – Danny Levi
Following the exit of Kruise Leeming, Leeds Rhinos look interested in former Huddersfield Giants hooker Danny Levi. Serious About Rugby League understand that there is a high chance of this deal being completed.

Leigh Leopards – Owen Trout
Owen Trout won’t be a Huddersfield Giants player in 2024 that much is clear and has likely played his last game after a nasty injury lately. Hull FC and Castleford were reportedly interested but Rugby League Live have claimed he is headed to Leigh.

Salford Red Devils – Ethan Ryan
Salford have already secured Brad Singleton as part of their deal with Wigan Warriors buying Tyler Dupree but Hull KR’s Ethan Ryan is set to sign for 2024 as they look to continue a positive period in their recent history.

St Helens – Forward
Unfortunately this could be one that comes down to injuries with Saints having suffered the brutal blow of losing Alex Walmsley and Agnatius Paasi to season-ending injuries. Walmsley should be back after a long off-season rehabbing but Paasi is out for nine months, with the retirement of Louis McCarthy-Scarsbrook it would make sense for a forward to be added to Saints’ ranks.

Wakefield Trinity – Romain Franco
The French winger has been a great addition for Wakefield already and has been confirmed to be staying till the end of the year but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him stay in 2024.

Warrington Wolves – Brad Dwyer
With Clark expected to join St Helens, the Wolves need a replacement and according to Rugby League Live they have swooped for Brad Dwyer who started at the club before joining Leeds and then Hull FC.

Wigan Warriors –Halfback
With Cade Cust transitioning to hooker and out of contract, it seems Wigan’s next move after the signing of Adam Keighran could be signing a halfback.
