NRL Team of the Week: Round 4

After impressive performances in Round 4, the Knights and Roosters dominate this edition of Team of the Week.

1. Kalyn Ponga

After missing week 3 due to suspension, Ponga came back in fine form in Round 4 against the Raiders. Ponga was instrumental throughout, scoring one try, assisting two others and making 278 run metres.

2. Maika Sivo

Sivo was excellent in his side’s controversial win over the Sea Eagles. The Fijian assisted two tries and made 208 run metres.

3. Bradman Best

Making his second consecutive appearance in our Team of the Week, Bradman Best is proving to be one of the game’s best young talents. Best scored two tries and made 111 run metres in his side’s impressive victory.

4. Jesse Ramien

Ramien was highly influential in Cronulla’s first win of the season. Ramien scored two tries, assisted another and made 162 run metres.

5. Edrick Lee

Another Knights player to make this week’s team, Edrick Lee played a vital role for his side in Round 4 as he scored two tries and made 197 run metres.

6. Luke Keary

Keary was at the heart of Sydney’s dominant performance in Week 4 against Brisbane. He scored a try and assisted two others in his side’s 59-0 win.

7. Mitch Moses

Moses continued his excellent start to the season against the Sea Eagles. His kicking game was a vital aspect of Parramatta’s performance as his side continued their perfect start to the year.

8. Lindsay Collins

Collins put in a massive performance against the Broncos. After coming off the bench, he made 272 run metres, 7 tackle breaks, 27 tackles and scored a try.

9. Andrew McCullough

Andrew McCullough was excellent for his new outfit in Round 4. He made 61 tackles and 65 run metres in Newcastle’s comfortable win over the Raiders.

10. Moeaki Fotuaika

Fotuaika played a vital role as his side won their first game in 364 days. Fotuaika made 217 run metres, 92 of which came after contact. The Kiwi was also solid in defence, making 31 tackles.

11. Ryan Matterson

Matterson continued his excellent start to his Parramatta career. Matterson made 38 tackles and made 140 run metres.

12. Angus Crichton

One of many high-performing Roosters players, Crichton scored two tries, made two line breaks, 141 run metres and 32 tackles.

13. Victor Radley

Continuing his fine form, Radley scored a try, made 168 run metres, two line breaks and 27 tackles.
