Wigan Warriors will not be signing Renouf Atoni – that is according to the Manchester Evening News.
The World Wide of Sports’ Mole had originally reported that Canterbury prop Atoni could have been heading to the DW Stadium as the Warriors attempt to rebuild their pack.
With Joe Bullock set to join Warrington and George Burgess departing at the beginning of this season, there are big shoes to fill and, the 26-year-old prop was the man allegedly linked to do just that.
However, sources close to Wigan – according to MEN – have revealed that isn’t the case and that Wigan will not be signing the Bulldogs’ forward.
