Rugby league veteran and cult hero Fuifui Moimoi will continue his career in 2021 after signing for Rochdale Hornets.
The 40-year-old has spent the past three years at Workington Town, playing 37 times and scoring 12 tries.
A former New Zealand and Tonga international, the Hornets are Moimoi’s fifth club in a career that has seen him make over 300 professional appearances for sides including Parramatta, Toronto and Leigh.
On the signing, head coach Matt Calland said: “I am delighted to get Fuifui on board with the Hornets for 2021.
“He has played over 200 NRL games, and opportunities don’t come around that often to get a player of his calibre.
“Despite being in the twilight of his career, shall we say, he is still a devastating ball carrier and will have a great influence on the team with all his experience.
“I’m sure this signing will excite the fans and I look forward to working with him in 2021.”
