Leeds target could have played last game for current club

Huddersfield’s Aidan Sezer has been linked with a move to Leeds in recent days, but now Giants boss Ian Watson has confirmed that the halfback could be out for more than two months.

The Australian ran out for the All Stars against England last week, but suffered an ankle injury which may need operating on.

“Aidan is going to be out for a while,” Watson said.

“It depends how he goes with the consultant, over whether to rehab it or whether it needs an operation.

That’s for Aidan to think about – it’ll be a minimum of eight to ten weeks, though.”

Sezer has registered 24 appearances since joining ahead of the 2020 Super League season.
