James Bentley has now been banned for four games instead of three following an unsuccessful appeal.
Leeds Rhinos tweeted: “James Bentley’s appeal has not been successful and he has had another game added to his suspension. The forward will now miss the Rhinos next 4 games following his red card in Saturday’s game against Warrington.”
The RFL tweeted: “Leeds Rhinos forward James Bentley has been handed a four-game suspension & £500 fine after being found Guilty of a Grade C reckless high tackle.
“Bentley and Leeds challenged the grading but the Tribunal rejected the challenge, and added a further game for a frivolous challenge.”
